•          Lead Armorer aboard the USNS Comfort during Haiti Earthquake Relief.  Responsible for foreign counterpart weapon accountability, shipboard, small boat, and ground teams deployed from the Comfort. 

•          Planned and implemented security measures necessary for the safety of patients, crew, and visitors tactfully with consideration given to the humanitarian nature of the operation as well as international focus. 

•          Coordinated and developed relationships with local and foreign law enforcement, military counterparts, and NCIS agents on various initiatives to include crime prevention and the security of DON assets and personnel as Chief of the Guard at Fleet Weeks 2011 and 2010 Port Everglades and the Lead Armor at Fleet Week 2011 New York.

•          Successfully conducted criminal investigations of alleged violations to Federal laws and regulations as well as UCMJ violations. Successfully concluded over 91 cases including sexual assaults, child abuse, fraud, burglary, narcotic violations, traffic accidents, and attempted espionage. 

•          Conducted joint operations and investigations with host nation military, foreign military, Carabinieri, Italian Polizia, and NCIS. 

•          Conducted proactive operations designed to reduce criminal activity and implement anti-terrorism measures. 

•          Duties included but were not limited to processing crime scenes, collecting and seizing of evidence, interviewing witnesses and victims, interrogating suspects, rights advisements, taking sworn statements, preparing reports, assisting in arrests, preparing affidavits, executing search warrants.

•          US Navy‘s Instructor training course on safe weapons handling, basic marksmanship, courses of fire, and advanced teaching techniques.  Instruction covered the primary weapons carried and used by sailors.
